Facts About The Show


Experience the biggest show in history with over eight football fields of new cars, light trucks, sport utility vehicles, crossover vehicles, and vans from every domestic and import manufacturer on display. The center aisle floor plan gives show-goers more room to look at the 500 plus vehicles on display. Show attendees will preview concept cars, see the newest cars and trucks for 2009, and get a sneak preview of what's in store for 2010. Factory representatives and Kansas City area auto dealer product specialists will be on hand to answer questions.

From the South: Take I-35 North. When you get close to downtown - get in second to last left lane. Exit on 14th Street.
Turn right onto 14th street and left onto Central.
From the North: Take I-35 South to Broadway exit. Turn left on Broadway - enter at 13th and Central.
From the East: Take I-70 West to 670. Take the Broadway exit. Turn right on Broadway - enter at 13th and Central.
From the West: Take I-70 East to the Broadway Exit. Turn left and travel down Broadway until you come to the Convention Center.
Parking: There are many parking lots surrounding the Convention Center. Lots charge $5 to $20 per event.

Auto Chairman Brad Hewlett: A true passion for cars and a lifetime of auto industry experience is a winning combination for Brad Hewlett, 2009 Greater Kansas City International Auto Show Chairman and Dealer Principal of Bob Allen Ford.

As the son of highly respected auto dealer Bob Hewlett, co-founder of Bob Allen Ford and Metro Ford, Brad grew up in the auto business. He started washing cars at the dealership in 1991 and learned every aspect of the business through his experiences as porter, used car manager and new car manager. In his current position as Dealer Principal of Bob Allen Ford, 9239 Metcalf in Overland Park, he is responsible for overseeing the sales process and managing all aspects of the dealership.

Brad is a 1994 graduate of Columbia College. He and his wife, Rebecca, are the parents of three boys who keep him busy coaching baseball and
other sports.
